Clif ZBars for Kids

I’ve been a fan of all-natural Clif energy bars for years. I’ve taken them to sports competitions, up mountains, and even to the office. In the supermarket the other day, I was happy to see that Clif now makes snack bars for kids.

Clif Zbars are different from most of the granola and snack bars on the market. They’re all natural, mostly organic, fortified with vitamins and minerals, but without any high-fructose corn syrup, trans fats, or hydrogentated oils. They’re also the first snack bars for kids that comply with California’s Senate Bill 19, which restricts the amount of fat and sugar in foods offered in the state’s school system.

That’s all well and good, but do they pass the taste test? They come in flavors like Caramel Apple, Chocolate Brownie, and Peanut Butter. I bought a box of peanut butter ones for my son, and he wolfed one down and wanted another. I’m packing several boxes for our trip this week to Yellowstone Park. They’ll be great for hikes, but also for the flight and car ride to get there. I may even have a few myself.

  1. We absolutely love these! My child eats very few things (cheddar cheese, bread, eggs, chocolate and peanut butter). Without these bars, she would barely be thriving!
