Taking a break from the political posts engendered by the Visible Vote forum, I’m happy to report that actor Sara Gilbert and her partner Allison Adler welcomed their daughter Sawyer into the world on August 2. The couple already has a three-year-old son, Levi.
Gilbert is best known for her role as Roseanne Barr’s daughter Darlene on the sitcom Roseanne, and now has a recurring role on ER.
Congratulations to the family!
I knew she was a lesbian, but I didn’t know she was a parent. That’s so cool! (I also didn’t know she was on ER. Being married to a doctor, I don’t watch the medical shows as much anymore. Reminds him of work.)
