We now interrupt back-to-school time and Sarah-Palin watching with a very important announcement:
As I (and many of you) predicted, it is Leisha Hailey (and her character Alice Pieszecki) who will star in a spinoff of The L Word, After Ellen reports. The final season of The L Word will air in January and set up the new show. The spinoff will launch online, with the potential for a television crossover.
No details yet on the premise, although I think it’s a safe bet Alice won’t be settling down, having two kids, and moving to the ‘burbs. More’s the pity. I think she’d be a hoot at a soccer (or, dare I say, hockey) game.
