We then discuss the joys of smaller children’s museums, with some money-saving tips and hints for engaging the kids at museums of all types. We then end our Monday-night filming to go watch Weeds and Nurse Jackie, and promise to bring you more about the lesbian moms who will show up later in the season on the latter.

Phelps actually showed up at a local school here in the DC area… Walter Whitman… because it was named after Walter Whitman. A coworker’s daughter attends that school and the response was similarly heartening. Vocal minority notwithstanding, today’s kids (at least in blue-state urban areas) really seem to be on board with equality.
