A new video from actor Liv Tyler includes a fashion-forward two-mom family. It might just be the pick-me-up you need after what has been a harrowing week, politics-wise.
Tyler directed this video for the Gap’s campaign in support of Every Mother Counts, which seeks to make pregnancy and childbirth safer for every mother.
Fashion photographer Cass Bird and spouse Ali Bird, a director of fashion and beauty agency The Wall Group, are among the actors and models whom Tyler gathered for the short video “Mama Said.” (The others are Coco Rocha, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, and Candice Swanepoel, as well as Tyler herself.) It’s an upbeat celebration of family that brought a smile to my face (even though it’s unlikely my family will ever look that good or wear white clothes that stay so clean).
