The upcoming Netflix series Dead End: Paranormal Park follows the adventures of Barney, a transgender teen voiced by trans actor Zach Barack, and guest starring lots of queer talent, including Miss Coco Peru, Alan Cumming, and MJ Rodriguez. Watch a trailer here!
The show is based on award-winning creator Hamish Steele’s horror-comedy graphic novels Deadendia, and takes place in a haunted theme park, where Barney works with his talking dog Pugsley (Alex Brightman) and colleague Norma (Kody Kavitha). The spookiness means this probably isn’t for very little kids, but slightly older ones should enjoy the comedic frights and the surprisingly heartwarming moments.
