Two dogs who are tired of being left at home follow their two (human) dads on an overseas trip. Some might prefer that a story about two dads includes human children—but these canines are nevertheless engaging and amusing as they attempt to protect their humans during their travels. The story is loosely based on the author and illustrator couple’s own life with their two dogs.
