Jennifer Schumaker has done it. The self-proclaimed “lesbian soccer mom” has walked 500 miles from San Diego to San Francisco to encourage dialogue among LGBT people and their families, friends and allies. (Right now, the article linked above seems to be the only note of her accomplishment. Unfortunately, it misspells her name.)
As of this writing, her own blog is not yet updated with news of her final day, but that’s to be expected. I hope she’s enjoying a long hot bath. Stop over in a day or two to see what she has to say.
