A big thanks to all of you who left comments about places to visit in and around Boston. I’m looking forward to exploring your suggestions (in between eating copious quantities of clam chowder).
This got me thinking, too: Since you were so helpful and willing to share, I’d like to see if we could create a series of travel guides here at Mombian. I’ll pick a new location every week or so. If you live there or have visited, please leave comments about things to do and see (especially, but not exclusively, LGBT- and/or family-friendly activities), as well as any other tips and advice for the area. Keep the Boston comments coming, if you have them, and look for the next destination on Thursday.
Speaking of travel, you’ve probably noticed the Orbitz ads running on this site. Orbitz is an LGBT-friendly company and their ads link to LGBT-specific content. I’m happy to show their banners. I had always thought of Orbitz as a way to book generic flights, hotels, and rental cars, but was glad to discover that one can also book Gay & Lesbian Cruises on Olivia, Atlantis, and RSVP through them, as well as make reservations for the Highlands Inn, Pearl’s Rainbow, and other lesbian (and gay) guesthouses. Orbitz also offers a variety of Gay & Lesbian Travel Deals for bargain hunters.
Regardless of how or why you travel, it’s wise to review these travel tips for LGBT families.
