Are partnered lesbians less subject to weight gain than straight women?
Yesterday’s New York Times Magazine reported on dietary research that showed “women tend to gain weight once they move in with male partners.” Researchers found that “Living with a male seemed to put pressure on females to consume more of the ‘unhealthy’ choices.” This would imply that partnered lesbians aren’t subject to such weight gain—which I suppose explains the body types portrayed on the L Word.
Yet another argument for our lesbian-recruitment arsenal. (I’m kidding, of course. It’s Monday and I’m in a mood. Next thing you know, I’ll be telling you the President’s dog made a movie.)
