Nothing like a little celebrity news now and then:
Actor Sara Gilbert, best known for her role in the sitcom Roseanne, and her partner, television producer Allison Adler, are expecting their second child, AfterEllen reports. Gilbert is pregnant this time; Adler carried the couple’s first baby.
Perhaps this will motivate the producers of ER, where Gilbert has a recurring role, to pick up a storyline about a lesbian family again now that Laura Innes’ character Kerry Weaver has left the show. Not that Gilbert’s character would necessarily come out, but maybe the actor could breastfeed on the set and glare at the producers until they add a lesbian character to the roster.
