I don’t know which it will be, but I know it *won’t* be mine: DC (though it’s not even a state, worsening the problems) or either of the neighboring states – the “Hate State” of Virginia, and Maryland, which with its recent rulings seems to be headed in a Virginia-like direction.
Not to be greedy, but I’d like FEDERAL marriage benefits & rights, anyway.
Guess I am grumpy today.
NY is already allowing marriages from other states/countries be recognized. It will just be a bit longer until it doesn’t make sense to have people travel out of the state to get married.
