I’m worried about finding balance between work and homelife. I had worked from home until this summer and now that the kids are going back to school, and the little one entering school for the first time, I don’t know how I am going to juggle everything. Boss wants more face time and kids all have different schedules. About all I can do is pay for before and after daycare which pretty much makes it a wash to work. And of course most activities are out of the question since I am not available to drive the kids around.
We’re hoping our son gets some speech therapy this year, that he can handle the social aspects of kindergarten and that the teacher is sensitive to his issues. All reports are that the school, teacher, administration, therapists, etc. are caring wonderful people, so our hopes are rather high. We did find out that two extremely disruptive boys will be in his class (one we know from our son’s preschool and one from soccer) and that makes us nervous that he could be overshadowed by them, or mimic their bad behavior.
