Hmm. Could it be mere coincidence that Lohan is starring in a new movie titled Labor Pains, whose premise is that her character fakes a pregnancy in order to keep her job? I’m not about to send them any “I Love My Mommies” onesies yet.
Things have been in a bit of a slump on the new-children-for-celebrity-lesbians front since Sara Gilbert and Allison Adler had their second child about a year ago. I’d like to see Rachel Maddow, whose news show launched tonight on MSNBC. If nothing else, she’d have the opportunity to talk about lesbian parenthood on national television, in between cutting Pat Buchanan down to size. She also seems dedicated, personable, smart, and generally a good parenting prospect. I’m guessing her show will keep her busy for a while, though, so I’m not really expecting this anytime soon.
