Gay dad Jeff Lutes posted a clip about his family over at Bilerico, and I wanted to share it here as well. He, his partner Gary Stein, and their three kids were recently profiled by Yimou Lee of NPR affiliate KUT and “Reporting Texas.” Lutes talks about their family life, the commonalities and differences between same-sex and opposite-sex parents, and using American Sign Language the primary mode of communication in their home, among other things. (Stein and two of the children are deaf.) It’s a sweet vignette. Enjoy.
