We often talk about “unconditional love” when it comes to our children. Most often, I think, we use it to describe our feelings as parents towards them. At Puffer and the Baby Fish, however, Pufferfish recently shared “My Favorite Way to Wake Up,” which illustrates how her two-and-a-half-year-old son expressed the unconditional love he feels towards her. No matter how much we know intellectually that our children love us, sometimes they reinforce that knowledge in a way that goes straight to our hearts.
