A very happy New Year to all of you and your families! I find a new year is always a good time for reflection, renewal, and reconnection, as my spouse, son, and I all get a few days off to be together without the interruption of work and school.
We’ve turned the corner of the seasons, too, and the short days are slowly lengthening. Oh, we’ll still bundle up for a few more months here in Massachusetts, but for me, it’s feels like we’re now looking ahead to spring rather than ahead to winter.
Each year has its own challenges, and I won’t speculate on what 2015 will bring in that regard. I know my family and I will face them together, though, and that makes all the difference.
