- Sherrie and Joanne Johnson of Nottingham, England, explain why they chose to become foster parents and why they support a new marketing campaign from foster agency Fostering Solutions.
- Single gay dad Talon Windwalker, who blogs at 1Dad1Kid.com, told Gay Star News why he and his son have decided to settle in Romania after four years traveling the world.

- WYOU Eyewitness News in Pennsylvania reports on the legal hurdles still faced by same-sex parents in the state, even after the legalization of marriage for them.
- Same-sex couples in Austria can now jointly adopt non-biological children. Previously, they could only do second-parent adoptions of a partner’s biological children.
- The Irish Independent interviewed LGBT activist Max Krzyzanowski of LGBT Noise about the idea of teaching young children about different types of families.
- An Italian appeals court has said it would recognize a child born to lesbian parents who had married in Spain. One of the mothers is Spanish and one Italian. When they separated, Italy had first refused to recognize the Italian woman as one of the child’s mothers.
