A new Wells Fargo TV ad features two moms practicing sign language before meeting the deaf girl they will adopt. It’s charming. Watch:
Wells Fargo has a long history of supporting the LGBTQ community. The ad is part of a larger campaign titled “Together, we’ll go far,” reports AdWeek. Other ads in the series tell the stories of a diverse range of people, they say:
For Wells Fargo, the goal is to reflect the diversity of its customers and get beyond products and services to tell emotional stories that illustrate universal truths, according to chief marketing officer Jamie Moldafsky. The ad with the lesbian couple, for instance, captures emotions that any couple feels when adopting a child.
And is it just me, or does the blonde mom look a little like Tina from The L Word?
I love this so, so much!
I love it. What a hopeful message. Well done Wells Fargo.
I’m a 74-yr-old hetero woman with no children, and even I think YOU ROCK for putting this one out there.
Thanks! You rock for leaving a comment about it!
