Yes, even if you don’t have a blog, you can still participate in Blogging for LGBTQ Families Day on June 1! Here’s how.
If you don’t have a blog, you may submit a link to a Facebook post you’ve made, as long as that post is set to “Public.”
After you’ve posted to Facebook, click the date/time stamp of your Facebook post to go to that post’s specific page, e.g.:
then copy that URL from your browser’s address bar to submit it to the event.
Please also tweet on June 1 with the hashtag #LGBTQfamilies.
Other
It’s also fine to submit links to your own YouTube videos, Instagram images, or any other social media content you’ve created—and of course, to blog posts if that’s how you roll. Please submit a link to a specific post, video, or image, not to your site/channel as a whole.
All LGBTQ bloggers, children of LGBTQ parents, and allies are welcome! The only theme is to celebrate and support our families.
If you do not have your own blog, Facebook page, or other social media channel, you may write your entry as a comment on the master post that I’ll put up on June 1 (but I’d rather send the traffic back to your site if you have one).
Grab the event image and share on your own blog, Facebook, Twitter, etc., before the event to help spread the word! Send folks back to:

Bonus fun fact: Blogging for LGBTQ Families Day was first held in June 2006, almost four months before Facebook was launched to the general public, and one month before Twitter. I’ve kept the event name, but now welcome entries from any channel!
I have no idea what to write this year! I wanted to get it done today or tomorrow.
