Who’s in your family? What’s going well for LGBTQ families where you live? Where would you like to see growth and progress? Family Equality Council and COLAGE have launched their annual Community Needs Survey, and they want to hear from you (and your kids)! (You could also win an Amazon gift card for participating.)
The survey is available in either English or Spanish and asks questions about your identity, family formation, socioeconomic status, your experiences as an LGBTQ family in your community, and the issues that matter to you. All responses will be anonymous, though you will have the opportunity to enter your email address and be entered into a weekly raffle for a $25 Amazon gift card. Children may answer as well—there’s no lower age limit, but it feels like it would be best suited for tweens or teens.
The survey took me about 10 minutes; YMMV, depending on how much you choose to write for any of the free-form answers, but it shouldn’t be terribly burdensome.
