For our families. For our bodily autonomy. For our democracy. Today’s the day to make a difference and elect Kamala Harris president of the United States. Here are some last-minute tips about voting today, making sure your ballot was accepted if you voted early, and what to do if you encounter any obstacles.

- See if your state requires ID to vote, and if so, what.
- Review the ballot in your state ahead of time to minimize time at the polling place.
- Make sure to vote all the way down the ballot, not just for the president.
- If you are in line when the polls close, stay there. You are allowed to vote as long as you are in line when the polls close.
- Learn what to do if someone tries to stop you from voting, if you’re told you’re not on the voter roll, or if you make a mistake on your ballot.
- If you voted by absentee or mail-in ballot, or in person with a provisional ballot, check to make sure it was received and accepted, and find contact information to follow up if it wasn’t.
