Want to learn more about queer family building options? About how to protect and nurture your queer family? Or how to support queer families as a health care or social work professional? Tune in tomorrow and Wednesday to Together, a virtual conference, to hear from experts, advocates, and care providers, all while building community and connections.

The event, which runs November 4 to 5, is hosted by PregnantTogether, an online community founded by midwife Marea Goodman, whom I had the pleasure of interviewing in 2024. For the conference, Goodman has gathered a range of experts on family building, reproductive research, legal issues for LGBTQ parents, wellness, racial justice, parenting as a trans and/or nonbinary person, and more. They’ve also created time for attendees to socialize and connect.
You must register in advance, and there are three registration options:
- A free public pass that gives you access to three of the sessions plus optional community meetups;
- A $50 premium pass with five additional sessions and access to replays;
- A $120 professional pass that offers continuing education credits for midwives and therapists, a bonus Q&A with Goodman, and inclusion in PregnantTogether’s Provider Directory.
Full details and a schedule of events are on the conference homepage. Note that all times are in Pacific Time. It looks to be an informative and inspiring two days of learning and community, and I hope you’ll consider joining for all or part of it.
