Thinking about living abroad? What are some considerations for queer families? Join COLAGE and Mothering Justice for an upcoming virtual workshop, “Somewhere Under The Rainbow: A Primer for Queer Families Exploring Life Abroad.”

This two-part online event is aimed at parents and other adults. Here’s what the organizations say:
Join COLAGE and Mothering Justice for Somewhere Under The Rainbow: A Primer for Queer Families Exploring Life Abroad. With the political pressures facing LGBTQ Families today many are choosing to explore options for living abroad. This workshop offers a guide that covers many of the major questions that come up when trying to build a life abroad. Asha Leong of COLAGE and Piper Lovemore of Mothering Justice both have first-hand experience with these major life decisions. This workshop will have a generous Q&A session as we strive to answer your questions. Join us for this exploration of what queer family looks like outside of the USA.
I’m not involved with the event at all, just passing on the information, but as someone who has lived abroad, I’ll note that it’s always useful to get advice from others who have done so. Thanks to COLAGE and Mothering Justice for offering this opportunity.
