This is perhaps the first of many quarantine editions of my roundup—because we could all use some interesting and informative reading while we’re hunkered down in our homes. Here are some of the stories about LGBTQ parents and our children that I haven’t covered elsewhere—including some additional kids’ virtual story times.
Let’s end the week with a roundup of a few things I haven’t covered yet—family stories, some political bits, and school-related news!
I’ve already highlighted some of 2019’s key news events for LGBTQ parents, but here are a number of other stories from recent weeks to round out and round up the year. Pull up some hot cocoa (or break out the New Year’s bubbly early) and have a read!
If, like me, you’re planning for a big family gathering this week, here are some stories for when you need a break from cooking or while you’re sprawled on your sofa after the meal—including a bunch of podcast episodes by and about LGBTQ parents (and not really about turkey basters, despite what some might think)!
A few bits from round and about that I haven’t covered elsewhere, including family vignettes, information on fertility and family formation, and a child of same-sex parents left “stateless” after three countries have refused or delayed granting her citizenship.
Personal stories, political news, entertainment tidbits, and more that I haven’t covered elsewhere! A buffet for your reading pleasure!
Summer may sometimes feel like a slow time of year, but there’s still a lot happening in LGBTQ parenting news!
But is it ever really post-Pride? Let’s keep the feeling going all year. Nevertheless, let’s move through July with a look at some of the many recent pieces at the intersection of queerness and parenting.
