Lesbian and Gay Foster Care and Adoption, Second Edition

A U.K.-focused look at how the experiences and policies around adoption and fostering for LGBT people has changed over the years, and what research says about LGBT parents. Much of the book, however, is based on interviews with families at different stages of the fostering and adoption process, including some parents who were interviewed for the first edition of this book 20 years previously. The families share their stories and some of the strategies they have used to help to address ongoing challenges.
