This puzzle has no obvious queer content, but it showcases images from the 2021 Love in the Wild board book about the many types of love found in the animal kingdom, “based on scientists’ observations of same-sex couples, adoption, nonbinary gender expression and more.” Readers of the book will enjoy piecing together Katy Tanis’ beautiful illustrations—and those who haven’t read it yet may be inspired to do so. As with the book, readers may appreciate this supplemental PDF from the author and publisher about the diversity portrayed.
