Todo el mundo cabe aquí

The Spanish edition of All Are Welcome. Review is of the English edition.

A group of children, diverse in race/ethnicity, religion, gender, national origin, physical ability, and more, interact and play during their day at school as they hear the affirming message “All are welcome here.” I particularly appreciate that it shows “a dozen different kinds of bread” brought for lunch; too often, children are mocked in school cafeterias for having food from different cultures; here it is a reason to rejoice. We also see the children’s many different kinds of parents, including ones with two moms and two dads, at the beginning and end of the day. A joyous celebration of the strength in diversity and a great launching point for further discussion.
