This early (1997) anthology explores the many ways that lesbian moms approach raising sons; their thoughts about gender, feminism, intersectional identities, multi-racial/ethnic families, role models, and more; and the challenges they face, both personal and societal, Several well-known voices are here, including Audre Lorde, Lillian Faderman, Robin Morgan, and Kate Kendell, but also a range of others, who share their experiences, thoughts, and advice. Some of it is dated, but other parts may still resonate.
