Three-time Grammy Award-winning co-founder of Pentatonix, Scott Hoying, and his husband, Mark Hoying, bring us a children’s album of both original songs and thoughtfully reimagined classics. Most notably, the album includes “Fa La La Family,” an ode to the many types of family that celebrate Christmas, which was released in conjunction with the duo’s picture book of the same name. Musical superstar Béla Fleck joins them for “You Are My Sunshine,” while Meghan Trainor is featured in “All I Need.” In an even more personal collaboration, Mark’s parents sing in Tagalo on “Mahal Kita.”
Add this to the growing number of children’s albums that are actually fun for adults to listen to as well, and that you won’t mind having on repeat (at least for the first thousand or so playthroughs).
