Despite having parents with superpowers, Jessica Tran has none. When she gets an internship with a supervillain, she gets to work with her (female) crush, but also uncovers a secret plot. This bisexual protagonist also has a transgender best friend. Some of the language is clunky, but it’s overall a fun read.
