Pronoun Party

The single “Pronoun Party,” from Miss Tutti and The Fruity Band, is a lighthearted kids’ song that’s perfect for Pride or any time of year. The bouncy tune takes us along with three musician friends (each of whom uses different pronouns), as they head to a party, instruments in hand. It’s a simple premise, like all the best kids’ songs, and bound to be a delightful earworm. (Ask me how I know.)

Miss Tutti and The Fruity Band is “a musical children’s project celebrating themes of body confidence, inclusivity, and LGBTQ+ representation.” The group is led by music educator Gracie Nash (aka Miss Tutti), along with New York City musicians and educators including Emmy nominee Emma Jayne (The Tonight Show), Laura Dadap (Nickelodeon), Dan Corica (Theatreworks), Olivia Griffin (Little Shop Of Horrors), and Scott Still (New York Pops).

“Pronoun Party” is the first single off a new album coming later this summer (and while it is unrelated to the 2022 book Payden’s Pronoun Party, by Blue Jaryn, they might make a good pairing. Listen and then read, or vice versa).
