An older, out-of-print book that still feels relevant today, the story tells of a young girl named Frankie who lives with her two moms, Allie and Patty. She hears them fighting at night while she cuddles her stuffed dinosaur, Doris Delores Brontosaurus (which is a great name). When they separate, she is angry and sad, although both moms will continue to care for her and be a part of her life. Frankie will live with Allie, and Saturday will be Pattyday, when Frankie visits Patty’s apartment and has her own space there. A soothing book for a challenging time.
