I’m off with my family for a week of LGBT-family adventure on the R Family cruise. I’ll be live blogging from the ship, however, so do stop back to see if I have any profound thoughts about LGBT families en masse or exactly how many pounds of sand can get into a four-year-old’s swim trunks. I’ll also be running the next post in my Family Voices series on Tuesday.
Comment moderation may be slow this week, so please be patient. It’s also an open question whether I’ll be able to compile my political roundup for next Friday. I hope my stories from the cruise will make up for this.
Off to finish packing. So far, it’s going smoothly (no sitting on the suitcases to get it all in), but the pre-cruise preparations somehow have me wanting to talk like a pirate all day. Maybe that’s why they call it the Arrr Family Cruise. Stay tuned for more tales of the high seas.
