Bette Porter for President!
The smart and confident Ms. Porter is Mombian readers’ choice for the Oval Office, based on your comments to the L-ection question in my L Word giveaway post.
The first five winners of the L Word Complete Fifth Season DVD Box set, however, show a range of opinions. They are:
- Ammo: “i say alice cuz she’s clever and spunky…out those homophobic jocks! and cuz i’ll see her tomorrow night playing in her band, uh huh her.”
- Duhbeckster: “Bette, absolutely. She’s hyper-organized and knows how to get stuff done. And she sure is good at bossing people around. :-)”

- Stacy: “I wanted to get this right, so I went to the list of all named Lword characters, even the minor ones, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_characters_from_The_L_Word) and I’m going to go with Barbara Grisham, the closeted senator from MA from Season 3. She’s clearly got the experience, and—since she thought Bette was hot—I trust her judgment.”
