I’ve just updated my list of dozens of books, videos, and articles by people with LGBTQ parents—these have been among the most useful resources for helping me think about how to talk with my own son about our family structure.
Instead of reposting the list here, I’m simply updating my original post, “Children of LGBTQ Parents: Readings and Resources,” since some people may already be linking to it. Whether you’re an LGBTQ parent looking for insight into how your children might view certain topics (like coming out about their family), or the child of an LGBTQ parent looking for others with similar or contrasting experiences, I hope you’ll check out the list of readings and my YouTube playlist of nearly 70 videos.
Thanks to everyone with an LGBTQ parent who has chosen to share their particular experiences.
