Although the winter holidays are over, some of us may already be thinking ahead to travel plans for spring or summer. Here’s a resource for some important travel tips that LGBT parents should know.
Kelsy Chauvin of Condé Nast Traveler spoke with Karen Christensen, the U.S. State Department’s deputy assistant secretary for Overseas Citizen Services, who offered several key pieces of advice for LGBT parents traveling abroad. The article is from last year, but still worth a read. (It’s also notable that even under the current administration, which is less than LGBTQ-friendly, the State LGBTI Travel Information page that Christensen mentioned remains up and running.)
