Ridley Jones, a new kids’ show from Netflix premiering July 13, is about an adventure-loving girl who lives in a museum with her mother and grandmother—and whose friends include a nonbinary bison and a mummy girl with two dad mummies. It’s the latest show from Chris Nee, creator of Doc McStuffins and Vampirina (and also a lesbian mom). Watch the first episode and the song “My Two Dads and Me” here.
Iconic children’s television show Sesame Street has just aired a “milestone” episode featuring a two-dad couple and their daughter. This is the first time a family with LGBTQ parents has been included in the main segment of the show. Watch it here!

Queer Kid Stuff (QKS), which began as an online video series and has expanded into a whole host of fun and educational content, has relaunched its website along with a brand-new Queer Kid Community for parents, educators, and other grown-ups who want to connect with each other and further QKS’ mission to “spread queer joy.”

Dreamworks Animation’s kids’ show “Madagascar: A Little Wild” has introduced a nonbinary character, voiced by a nonbinary actor—and also brings us a new song for Pride that’s bound to stick in your head.
